Give an important date a second look

Check a wedding, reunion, or gathering against known holidays, sports, campus events, and your own dates.

Use the Event checker to find known calendar overlaps. Treat its result as a screening step, then confirm the details with the people and places involved.

Illustrated example: compare holiday, sports, and campus information for the same weekend. Missing coverage stays unknown; it does not become a clear result.

Build the layers that matter

Start with your proposed date and relevant location or selections. The result combines known federal holidays, official local sports, verified campus events, and dates you add locally.

Use personal dates for commitments that public sources cannot know about. Include only information you are comfortable storing or sharing; a simple date can be enough without a private description.

  1. Enter the candidate date.
  2. Choose the relevant teams or campus context offered by the form.
  3. Add your own important dates where applicable.
  4. Read each conflict and its source rather than relying on the overall level alone.

Compare a few realistic alternatives

If the first date has a major overlap, check nearby dates using the same settings. Keep the guest list, venue constraints, and travel needs consistent so the comparison stays meaningful.

A clear date does not confirm venue availability, guest attendance, weather, travel cost, or local permits. Ask the venue and key guests before making a commitment.

Recheck before the decision becomes expensive

Sports times and campus schedules may change after your first check. Reopen the plan and inspect source status before confirming travel or finalizing the date.

A saved result or exported calendar is a useful record of what you checked. It is not a live guarantee that the underlying schedule has stayed the same.

Questions, answered

Does a clear result guarantee a good wedding date?

No. It means no relevant overlaps were found within the selected data and coverage. Venue availability, guests, weather, and prices still need separate checks.

Can I include private family commitments?

You can add dates locally where the form supports them. Review the saved or shared contents before sending a plan to someone else.
