Local tools and sharing

Core tools work without an account. Saved setups, appearance preferences and offline copies stay in your browser until you export, share or explicitly upload a selected plan. Signing in does not upload your local plans. Clearing browser storage can erase local copies; export a backup when needed.

A share link encodes the settings you choose in its URL. Anyone who receives the link can read those settings. Do not put private names or sensitive dates into a public share link. Shared URLs are excluded from search indexing, but that is not access control. Calendar files are downloaded to your device; they are not a live calendar subscription.

Optional account services

When enabled, we use your email for one-use sign-in links, account access and requested support. Cloud plans are account-scoped and their payloads are encrypted in storage. Plan titles, IDs, timestamps and version numbers support listing and conflict detection. Household checks combine plans you selected in your own browser; they do not create a public family directory.

Orders store the product, currency, amount, policy consent, provider references and verified payment events. Payment card data is handled by Paddle, not stored by DateXLife. Support requests and replies are private to your account and authorized project staff. Security records use account identifiers and action outcomes, not sign-in links or calendar payloads.

Cookies and service providers

Necessary secure cookies bind a sign-in request to your browser and keep an authenticated session. The request expires after 10 minutes and the ordinary session after 24 hours. Administrative embedded sessions last at most five minutes and do not rely on third-party cookies.

Cloudflare provides hosting and the configured project database and backups. Resend carries requested transactional email; support email is handled in Zoho. Paddle handles enabled payments and its own buyer records. Optional GA4 product analytics remains disabled unless separately configured and approved; private event text is not sent as analytics. No cross-product account is created.

Retention, export and deletion

Local data remains until you remove it or the browser clears it. Cloud plans remain while your account is open; cancellation alone does not erase them. Free capacity is three cloud plans, with extras read-only after Pro expires; they can still be exported or deleted. Pro has technical storage limits of 1,000 cloud plans and 50 MB of encrypted data.

The proposed operational retention is: expired sign-in requests and sessions removed within one day; email payloads within 30 days; closed support messages after 90 days; security audit records after 180 days; encrypted recovery backups within 30 days. Scheduled production cleanup is not enabled in this candidate.

You can export account data and request deletion from Account. Deletion removes active personal data and revokes access. Necessary billing, consent and security records are kept separately; their lawful retention schedule and international processing terms must be approved before account services launch. Recovery must reapply recorded deletions so a backup does not restore erased accounts.
